My family got a great deal as a result of attending a time share, so I can't give this a 1 star review considering we got to our destination, had decent accommodations, and had a great time at Disney in December 2017.My experience with Casablanca was the only downside of the entire trip.
With the exception of a couple folks I spoke to prior to submitting my deposit, their customer service sucks! Zero communication and a confirmation package that arrived only a couple days before our departure had us very stressed. The agent was very abrupt and rude when confirming our itinerary by phone, and would only give me about 2 minutes of his time even though I wanted to pay for several upgrades. I paid for an extra night by CC over the phone, but he never bothered to inform me that any upgrade forfeits my $100 "fully refundable deposit"!
He printed the wrong address for the hotel on the itinerary, resulting in us having to pay two Uber drivers to get to our final destination. We were never told that the airline would be charging an $80 PER carry on bag round-trip additional fee, and we were never informed that the resort would be charging us $10 per day for use of their amenities (none of which we intended to use since we were at Disney from early morning until late evening) and $7 per day for the shuttle. Heck, we couldn't even take advantage of their breakfast since the shuttle for Disney leaves 10 minutes after the buffet opens. Waiting for the next shuttle would have meant losing half the day at Disney.
Casablanca is supposedly mailing me a $50 refund for my inconvenience, which is a mild consolation since all the additional fees added up to $231 and all their paperwork claims that the $100 fully refundable deposit will be mailed to me 30 days after completion of travel.
Don't believe it.You can kiss that deposit goodbye!
