Attended a Timeshare presentation and was given a "free" vacation. Our choices included 3/4 day Vegas trip or 3, 4 or 7 day cruises.

We chose a cruise and sent in our $50.00 deposit. Their brochure did mention that taxes and port fees would be our responsibility. Long Beach is the port for the Mexico cruise (and Carnival is the ONLY cruise company that sails out of there) and Carnival's port fees and taxes were $106.80 per person. However, Casablanca's Reservation Letter requires us to send $698 (in addition to the $50 already sent).

(That's $213.80 in taxes and port fees $534.40 to Casablanca for that [not so] "free" cruise we were promised.) When I called to get clarification on this, the customer service rep was rude and offered no help whatsoever.

I'd rather lose the $50 than get screwed by them for $750. READ YOUR 'FREE' VACATION BROCHURES carefully.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $50.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
